Memory Goats
These goats make meaningful gifts for anyone.
They measure 20 inches from the heel to the top of the head.
In a sitting position, they measure 14.5 inches from the bottom to the top of the head.
The stomach measures 10 inches tall x 10.5 inches wide—perfect if you're wondering whether a T-shirt logo will fit.

Some fabrics need stabilizer for structural support. These include:

Goat Appearance & Customization
Each goat is handmade, and no two will look alike. The fabric you send will determine the goat’s final look:
Firm fabrics (e.g., denim) → Sturdy, solid goat
Soft fabrics (e.g., sweatshirts) → Cuddly, softer goat

Collars, Bows & Additional Details
Collars and button strips are only added if the clothing has them.
Sweatshirts, pants, and blankets will receive a bow instead.
You can request no bow or collar if you prefer.
If the fabric is too busy, I can add solid-colored fabric to the feet and ears to make embroidery stand out—please request this option.
If you want a specific bow color, you can either provide another fabric/ribbon or message me to request a color.
Note: The goat’s nose is black. If you're sending black fabric, the nose may not stand out.
Embroidery Options
Embroidery can be placed on:
Chest – Name, birthdate, and passing date
Foot – Up to 3 rows of 7 characters each
Poem Option:
At this time, the only poem available is:
"This is a shirt I used to wear. Whenever you hold it, know that I am there."
If the fabric pattern is too busy, the poem may not be visible. I can add matching solid fabric to the feet and ears to help it stand out.
Please double-check the embroidery details before submitting. If an embroidered piece needs to be redone due to customer error, a $15 charge applies, and fabric may not be available for a replacement.
How to Provide Embroidery Details
Write your desired embroidery in the "Message to Seller" section at checkout.
If including a note in the package, type it and send a picture of the note via Etsy.
Important: When purchasing embroidery for both feet, list the right foot first.
For example:
Right foot: Bob
Left foot: Jones
Clothing Size Requirements
XL long-sleeve or short-sleeve shirt → Makes 1 goat.
If a collared shirt is provided, one goat will have a collar, and the second goat will have a bow made from the same fabric.
A sweater will receive a matching ribbon.
Large long-sleeve or short-sleeve shirt → Makes 1 goat.
Medium, small, or smaller shirts → Not enough for one goat.
You can provide multiple shirts to complete a goat or purchase additional fabric.
Care Instructions
Memory items are made from washed and worn clothing, so they can be fragile.
These are display items, not toys.
Please wash clothing before sending.
Do not machine wash the completed goat.
Spot clean only.
Ordering Process
1. Purchase your item.
2. I will send you directions and the shipping address for your clothing.
3. Once I receive your clothing, I will confirm receipt and provide a ship-by date.
4. You can keep track of your shipment details or send me a picture of your tracking information.
